Where Nature left an opening as a piece of wood deteriorated over time, we filled it with molten brass that turns luminous as it contrasts the warm tones in the wood. The charred edge where the metal meets the wood brings it an even richer character. This wood wall tile is the perfect example of how we work diligently to use every piece of natural material we source, many of them declared castaways by less thoughtful product designers. We offer this design in a slightly smaller tile and with a poured aluminum center.
